Introduction

Problem and Solution

2min

Humanity does not have much time left to address the ecological crisis, therefore there is an urgent need for a global movement with a potential to provide answers fast. Over the past 50 years there has been an increasing awareness of the global ecological crisis, however, despite the knowledge among the world’s thinkers, the ecosystems have been continually depleted, the biodiversity has been adversely affected and climate change accelerated at an unprecedented rate compared to the past millions of years.

This shows that, despite our shared know-how, it has not been possible to apply functional solutions with real positive impact on a global scale.

Therefore we need to act fast, and find the most effective ways of connecting the problem solvers on the global scale, in a continuous way, so we can with a bit of hope reshape the strategies and identify the needed scalable and applicable solutions. This way we can democratize the process of identifying and creating the solutions, linking them to expert opinions and eventually to investors with capacity to bring these solutions to real life. In addition we can accelerate the transformation of humanity towards sustainability, enable the deployment of solutions that answer the ecological crisis at the global scale and especially democratize the process of complex problem solving.

Wolf Society Foundation, together with Solved, is applying the design thinking methodology in virtual space by utilizing its collaboration and community engagement platform (based on its own proprietary no-code technology). At the same time, Solved has the knowledge of designing the processes for complex problem-solving and access to a database of more than 27 thousand sustainability experts & enthusiasts

In addition, the aim is to apply the blockchain technology for various use cases (tokenization, smart contracting, payments, decentralized identity, etc.) and also the potential of AI for expert and community matchmaking, patterns recognition, automation of facilitation and transactions.

The challenges we address

  • Lack of Time: Using our collaborative platform, tools and problem-solving methodology, we streamline the process from ideas to actual implementation, achieving the strongest positive impact in the shortest possible time.
  • Collaboration Efficiency: The whole process is a bottom up initiative, as it can involve large communities, provide the necessary democratic platform and involve an expert dialogue, without any political or ideological bias.
  • Knowledge Transfer: By bringing together multiple trends such as the future of work, the platform and sharing economy, the digital transition, blockchain technology and AI, we are moving the dialogue from conferences and seminars to a truly global arena.
