Process Phases

Final entries and final pitch of shortlisted teams

3min

Competition entries (solutions) must be submitted through the Wolf Society’s digital hub at https://11problems.solved.fi (SOLVED platform) by a specifically announced deadline. Only the competition entries submitted through the digital hub by the given deadline will be accepted to the challenge competition. All competition entries must be written in English. Submissions in other languages will not be accepted.

By submitting a competition entry (solution) to the challenge competition, the team undertakes to abide by the competition rules described in this document and other relevant documents issued by the Wolf Society. In the Wolf Society’s digital hub, the team members have to create an account to start the challenge and co-creation process. The submission includes an online form and attachments in PDF file format (all to be submitted through the digital hub, following the instructions specified).

In the solutions submission, each team will have to:

• Name its members and briefly describe the roles of the team members

• Describe the composition, capabilities and experience of the team

• Deliver a short, summarized explanation of their preliminary plan, and solution/s included

• Deliver more detailed information about their preliminary solution/s (via application form).

Team members named in the application phase may only be changed for substantial and justified reasons. However, if selected as a finalist, the team can register new members during the first half of the challenge process to add further expertise to their team.

Objective

Collect and prepare final solutions for submission for the evaluation process.

Process

  1. Submission Guidelines: Provide clear guidelines for submitting final entries, including format, content requirements, and deadlines.
  2. Solutions Presentation Preparation: Offer resources and coaching on how to effectively pitch and present solutions to the jury.
  3. Dry Runs: Organize practice sessions where teams can present their solutions and receive feedback before the final submission.
  4. Final Solution(s) Submission: Each team must submit before the deadline the solution form, based on the specified solutions template, to the Wolf Society digital hub at https://11problems.solved.fi at predefined place.

Final Pitch of Shortlisted Teams

The final pitch marks the culmination of the challenge, where shortlisted teams present their refined solutions to the jury (a panel of distinguished experts), challenge partners and potential investors. In this high-stakes event, each team will have a limited time to showcase their innovative ideas, demonstrate the potential impact, and articulate the feasibility and scalability of their solutions. The pitch is a crucial opportunity for teams to make a compelling case for why their solution should be selected as the winner, highlighting the unique value they bring to addressing the global ecological crisis.
